Was It Just A Mirage

Was it just a mirage that I saw
That came into my life
I enjoyed so much the time we spent
That I did now want her out of my sight
It must have been a mirage I saw
For, she disappears from me now
And although I never though it could
This mirage did touch my soul
Was it just a mirage that I saw
That could touch me in such a way
I just wanted her in my life I know
But, it seems that she did not stay
So, I slowly watch the my mirage disappear
From my every day life it seems
And wish that I had not lost sight of
What felt so right to me
Someday maybe I will see my mirage again
And I will try hard to do what is right
For my mirage did tell me what she needed
And I will do my best to keep her in sight.
