A Fool

I have been such a crazy fool
for looking at what the future might bring
For I expected things from others in life
and then suffer when I received nothing

Some have promised me different things
And I was happy without know why
Then I received nothing from them
And it hurt me deep inside

Now when someone promises
that they will do or send things for me
I will no longer expect to receive these things
so it will not hurt when they are not received

So I will not longer be the crazy fool
who believed that there were people that cared
About the things I had inside of me
and the things that I wanted to share.
